Isla Mágica
Isla Mágica is a theme park on the Isla de la Cartuja in Seville, opened in 1997 on the Expo 92 site, with 27 rides and the Agua Mágica water park next door.
About Isla Mágica
Isla Mágica opened on 28 June 1997 on part of the Expo 92 grounds on the Isla de la Cartuja, a short walk from central Seville. Run by Looping Group, it is themed on the Spanish voyages to the Americas, with six zones around a lake. Agua Mágica, the water park added in 2014, has had its own entrance and ticket since 2026.
The headline ride is Jaguar, a suspended looping coaster with a 32-metre drop and five inversions (minimum 130 cm). El Desafío is a 68-metre drop tower (140 cm), Anaconda a water coaster with a 17-metre drop and Iguazú a splash boat (both 110 cm). Small children have La Fuente de la Juventud and Isla Calavera, with rides from 85 cm. Around ten daily shows, including a bird-of-prey display, are included. Agua Mágica has a wave pool with real sand, a slide tower (120 cm), a lazy river and a children's pool.
The 2026 season ran from 11 April to 8 November, daily from June to early September and at weekends otherwise. Tickets cost from €24.90 online (€39.90 at the gate) over 130 cm and from €20 for children 90 to 130 cm; under 90 cm go free. Agua Mágica alone costs from €19.90. Outside food is not allowed, but there are lockers by the gate. Parking costs €8.90 to €9.90; C1 and C2 buses stop outside.
Buy online a day or more ahead, as prices rise and days sell out. June weekdays are quieter than August. Ride Jaguar and Anaconda first and bring spare clothes for Iguazú.

Isla Mágica sits on the Cartuja island, and the Barqueta bridge leads straight into the historic centre. The Mercado de Feria (1 km), one of Seville's oldest food markets, is the closest place for lunch outside the park, and Metropol Parasol (Setas de Sevilla) (2 km) has a rooftop walkway children enjoy. The Seville Cathedral and the Giralda (2 km) and the Royal Alcázar of Seville (3 km) can fill a second day. On a hot afternoon the Acuario de Sevilla (4 km), on the river beside the cruise terminal, makes an air-conditioned alternative, and Guadalpark Sevilla (8 km) offers a second water park in the east of the city.
