Aqualand Bahía de Cádiz

Aqualand Bahía de Cádiz is a water park off the A-4 at El Puerto de Santa María, with 11 attractions including the 16-metre Tsunami slides and a 2,500 m² wave pool.

About Aqualand Bahía de Cádiz

Aqualand Bahía de Cádiz stands beside the A-4 motorway on the old road from El Puerto de Santa María to Jerez, with views over the Bay of Cádiz. Part of the Aqualand chain, it is laid out in four areas, Adrenaline Fun, Family, Kidzworld and Chill Out & Play, and opens only from mid-June to early September.

Teenagers head for Zero Gravity, four speed slides with near-vertical drops (minimum 140 cm), and the twin Tsunami body slides, about 150 metres long from a 16-metre tower (120 cm). Cola del Diablo runs in total darkness, and Rapids and Congo River are ring slides (120 cm). Crazy Race has six 50-metre mat lanes, and Surf Beach is a 2,500 m² wave pool. Kidzworld, for children under 140 cm, has small slides, an orca and the Speed Boats ring slide.

In 2026 it opened daily from 13 June to 8 September: 10:00 to 17:00 in June, 11:00 to 19:00 in July and August, 11:00 to 18:00 in September. Dated tickets cost €31 at the gate over 11 and €23 for children 5 to 10, or from €27 and €19 online; ages 3 and 4 pay €15 and under-3s go free. You may bring food to the picnic areas, but no glass, chairs or umbrellas. Lockers cost €6, loungers €5 and parking €5.

Arrive at opening and ride Zero Gravity and the Tsunamis first; August weekends are busiest. A Fast Pass speeds up the main slides. Bring water shoes and sun cream. Under-16s must be with an adult.

Nearby places to visit

The park lies between El Puerto de Santa María and Jerez, so beaches and sherry towns are close. In El Puerto, the Castillo de San Marcos (5 km) is a castle-church by the harbour, and Playa de Valdelagrana (7 km) and Playa de la Puntilla (7 km) are long, shallow family beaches. In Jerez, the Alcázar of Jerez (7 km) has a camera obscura with views over the city, and the Zoobotánico Jerez (8 km) makes a cheaper half-day with giraffes, lynx and shady paths when you need a break from the sun.
