Mario Park

Mario Park is the largest water park in Almería province, a 45,000 m² site in Roquetas de Mar with a wave pool, a lazy river, a toddler lagoon and the 25-metre Turbulance slides.

About Mario Park

Mario Park lies in the Las Salinas district of Roquetas de Mar, 800 m from the beach and 20 km west of Almería, next to Aquarium Costa de Almería. The provincial tourist board calls it the largest water park in Almería, on a 45,000 m² plot with lawns, palms and shaded terraces, and its rides are grouped for children, for adults and for families.

The strongest rides are Turbulance, two mat slides from a 25-metre tower (minimum 1.25 m), and Boomerang, a near-vertical drop from over 15 m (minimum 1.40 m), plus Kamikazes and Black Hole. Families share the wave pool, the Río Bravo lazy river and Multipistas; small children have Boomerang Junior (from 0.95 m) and the children's lagoon.

The 2026 season ran from 13 June to 6 September, daily 11:30–19:00. Tickets go by height: general €27.95 at the gate or from €22.40 online, junior (0.95–1.40 m) and over-65s €20.95 or from €16.80, under 0.95 m free. Rings are included; sunbeds and lockers cost extra. There is a pizzeria and snack bars, own food is allowed in picnic areas, and parking is free.

August weekends are busiest; late June and early September bring shorter queues. Arrive before opening for a shaded parking space and a spot under the trees. Bring swimwear, towels, flip-flops and sun cream; phones are not allowed on the slides. Buying online is cheaper.
