Playa de Sotogrande is the beach of the Sotogrande residential estate, on the Mediterranean coast of San Roque in the Campo de Gibraltar, at the eastern edge of Cádiz province. It runs for about 2,250 metres between the Puerto Sotogrande marina and the mouth of the Guadalquitón stream, with an average width of 35 metres and darkish sand, and the protected estuary of the Río Guadiaro lies just beyond the marina.

Sotogrande is an exclusive, low-density estate known for sport: polo championships are held every summer, alongside golf and padel tournaments. The coast here has had problems with erosion. In 2020 the Verdemar environmental group reported heavy sand loss next to the Guadiaro estuary and a thin beach south of the port, where some homes sit behind rock armour.

Facilities include sunbed and umbrella hire, water sports hire, a nautical club, toilets, showers, a children's area and a tourist office. The sea is usually moderate, and the beach carries a Blue Flag.

Come in May, June or September, when the water is warm and the beach is quieter than at the height of summer, when occupancy is high. Mornings are best for calmer water and easier parking, and evenings for a drink at the marina.

Across the Guadiaro estuary to the north, Playa de Torreguadiaro (1 km) is the beach of the village of Torreguadiaro, and Playa de Cala Sardina (3 km) lies a little further north-east. Heading south, Playa del Guadalquitón (4 km) is a largely undeveloped stretch within Los Alcornocales Natural Park. Golf is the other big draw here. Sotogrande Golf (2 km) is part of the estate, and Club de Golf La Cañada (3 km) is a short drive inland. With two courses this close, a morning round and an afternoon on the beach fit easily into one day.
