Lobo Park
Lobo Park is a 40-hectare wolf reserve in the hills west of Antequera where packs of four wolf subspecies live in large enclosures, seen only on guided tours from Thursday to Sunday.
About Lobo Park
Lobo Park lies on the A-343 between Antequera and Álora, in hill country looking towards El Torcal. Run as a non-profit association for wolf research and dog education, it does not call itself a zoo. Its 40 hectares hold packs of European, Iberian, Hudson Bay and timber wolves, each in a large enclosure where the packs keep their natural hierarchy.
Visits are by guided tour only: about 90 minutes along an 800 m gravel path, in Spanish or English, on pack behaviour and the history of wolves in Europe. Howl Nights at dusk offer the chance to hear the packs howl, though it is not guaranteed. A small farm with horses, donkeys, goats and foxes appeals to younger children.
Open Thursday to Sunday and on public holidays, with tours at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 16:30. Adults pay €15 and children 3–12 €8.50 (2026); Howl Nights cost €30, private VIP tours from €170 for two. Allow about 2 hours. Parking is free, with a picnic area, a terrace and a shop. There is no practical bus, so drive: 25 minutes from Antequera, an hour from Málaga.
Book online, especially from March to October, as tours fill up and Howl Nights sell out weeks ahead. In summer the 11:00 tour is cooler and the wolves livelier. Wear trainers for the gravel path, which suits pushchairs only partly. The tour works best for children from about five.

Nearby places to visit
Lobo Park makes a good pairing with the sights around Antequera. The limestone formations of El Torcal de Antequera (8 km) can be explored on short marked trails, and in town the Dolmens of Antequera (8 km), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Alcazaba and Colegiata of Antequera (7 km) are both within a 25-minute drive. The Mercado de Abastos, Antequera (7 km) is a good place to buy picnic supplies before the tour. Further along the A-343 towards Álora, the Caminito del Rey (18 km) gorge walkway and the white village of Álora (19 km) can be combined with a morning wolf tour for a full day inland.
